2025 Annual Tree Lighting

Monday December 1st, 2025, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM @ RSES.

Kick off the holiday season with joy and community at Rock Spring’s Annual Tree Lighting! Bring your family and friends to enjoy an evening filled with festive music, warm cocoa, and plenty of cheer as we light our beautiful tree together. There will be fun activities for all ages, a school crafted luminary event, and a visit from Santa himself! Don’t miss this magical night of joy, togetherness, and holiday sparkle – we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

LUMINARY WALK

Experience the magic as our pathways glow with beautiful luminaries decorated by our talented students. This special evening celebrates creativity, community and togetherness – a chance for families and friends to stroll, enjoy, and share in the warmth of our school spirit. Come be part of the light!

TRACKLESS TRAIN RIDES

All aboard our Holiday Trackless Train! Choo Choo! This festive ride brings holiday magic to life with twinkling lights, cheerful music, and plenty of holiday spirit. Perfect for our Tree Lighting ceremony, the trackless train safely carries passengers of all ages on a joyful journey – no tracks required! Great for photos and creating unforgettable memories this holiday season. $2 per person, per ride.

SANTA MEET & PHOTO OP

Come join us for some holiday magic! Take a festive photo with Santa and share your Christmas wishes — he can’t wait to hear what’s on your list this year!

RSES CHOIR

Our Grades 4 & 5 student Choir will present an assemble of Christmas Carols for our attendees. Come out and enjoy the 5:15 PM performance.

LETTERS TO SANTA STATION

Stop by our Letters to Santa Station and let the holiday magic begin! Kids can fill out a special fillable letter to Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and drop it into our festive Letters to Santa Mailbox. Once mailed, their letter heads straight to the North Pole – who knows, they might even receive a special reply from Santa himself!
